From the Casting Department….

Center Theatre Group does not have a resident or repertory company of actors and we are always looking for new talent for our stages. We cast for the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Kirk Douglas Theatre, in addition to various readings, workshops and special events. Most of our work is based in Los Angeles, but occasionally we have projects that are based in New York or elsewhere.

We hope that this site provides useful information and increases accessibility to the actors.

Congratulations!

We are so proud of the August Wilson Monologue finalists and Regional Winners… they had a wonderful trip to New York in May !  Ten local high school students from six different cities performed in the August Wilson Monologue Competition (AWMC) Los Angeles regional finals at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, Monday night, March 4, 2013. The top three student performers received scholarships and the opportunity to perform again in New York City.
