As part of our efforts to improve the quality and scope of arts education in Los Angeles County, CTG is making a substantial and sustained investment in theatre educators to help advance the practice of teaching theatre.

Below is a list of professional development programs CTG offers to educators to help fill their needs as instructional leaders, creative thinkers, artists, change-agents and cultural patrons.

Theatre Educator Fellowship Program

Teachers propose individualized professional development projects that support their own artistic revitalization and improve instructional practice.

Teaching Artists-in-Residence

Selected theatre Teaching Artists act as “artists in residence” at CTG, working alongside CTG education staff to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of one or more assigned education and engagement programs.

Educator Network Special Events 

CTG is pleased to invite educators to meet and interact with other theatre professionals at a range of networking events throughout the year.
