Les Misérables
Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, Les Misérables is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical, Les Misérables, with glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by Hugo's paintings.
On June 22nd, Center Theatre Group's production of Les Misérables played host to 1,311 students, teachers, administrators and parents from 25 schools and community organizations. Below are some photos from the performance and feedback we received from the students and educators.
"I am grateful that there is a group of teachers such as CTG Education, to help aspiring actors, actresses, and techies to learn more about the world we wish to be a part of. Once again, thank you so much for showing us how a superior theatre works and how hard the people in it work to keep it going."
- Jayla, La Sierra High School
"I loved every single thing about this show. Especially I want to thank the props, the lighting, sound, costumes, and the employees of the theater. This performance has taught me a lot of things that I should think of in life. Once again, thanks a billion for all the hard work and effort.”
- Vianca, La Sierra High School
"Thank you so much for all the hard work you and everyone at CTG put into making today possible. You are changing lives, one audience member at a time!"
- Lynn Rothacher, educator at John Muir Middle School Burbank
