Pray the Devil Back to Hell Screening

In honor of the West Coast Premiere of Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Center Theatre Group is proud to present a special screening of the award-winning documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at 7:00 pm.
It will take place at the Mayme A. Clayton Library and Museum located blocks away from the Kirk Douglas Theatre at 4130 Overland Avenue, Culver City 90230.

Playwright and actress Danai Gurira talks to Backstage.com about her new play Eclipsed, showing now at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
Gurira discusses her decision not to perform in the play, along with the genesis for the story, which focuses on the lives of five Liberian women during the civil war that took place there in 2003.
