It was first produced on Broadway in 1959 where it won five Tony Awards including Best Musical and its cast album won the Grammy Award. The 1965 film of “The Sound of Music” won five Academy Awards including Best Musical and continues to be the most successful movie musical in history. </p> <h3>DATES/TIMES:</h3> <p><strong>Previews Begin September 20.
