About the Artist
Anthony Aguilar is a playwright and teaching artist raised in Boyle Heights. He is the creator of the El Verde Show, a series that follows a Latinx superhero.
Credits: El Verde, Little Red, Annazul, For One Mariachi, and Emma & the Suzies. For Center Theatre Group: Emma & the Suzies, Annazul, and El Verde were part of the Library Play Readings series and he was a writer for two seasons of CTG’s Chisme y Queso.
Anthony is currently developing El Verde into a comic book.
