About the Artist

Manuel J. Marron is a poet, playwright and street artist from Pico Rivera. His writing has always been a form of therapy, and hopes to connect with others who may share similar experiences and tragedies.

Credits: Eight-Hundred South developed through LTA/LA Playwright's Circle, A Wake for Center Theatre Group's Library Play Reading series, two seasons of CTG’s Chisme y Queso, and a community writer for Center Theatre Group's Through the Looking Glass.

Manuel is currently developing a play about working class struggles and poor decisions.
