Management

Theatre management is a broad term that covers many types of jobs. Some focus on the general operations of a theatre space, making sure the space is safe and arranging for any maintenance. Others make budget decisions, handle artists’ contracts, and work with theatrical unions to be sure the people working on a show are safe and happy. Management jobs are usually full-time with a steady salary, although some smaller theatres employ part-time managers.
