Make It, Don’t Fake It: 2025 CTG Student Ambassador Event

Make It, Don’t Fake It! is a free event hosted by Center Theater Group’s Student Ambassadors! Inspired by Larissa FastHorse’s Fake It Until You Make It, enjoy an afternoon of student led games, activities, and presentations that’ll explore the themes of the show.

CTG’s Student Ambassador program is the ultimate experience for Los Angeles County high school students who love the arts: a seven-month paid leadership program designed to transform passionate young people into arts leaders, team players, advocates, and engagement experts. Student Ambassadors work towards a culminating project to hone their leadership skills and practice what they’ve learned throughout the program. This event is that final project for the 2025 cadre!

Eligibility

This event is open to Los Angeles community members interested in themes explored in Fake It Until You Make It. Due to the content of the play, we recommend this event for community members ages 16 and older. Registration

Space is limited!

  • While this event is free, registration is required.
  • Register by 5pm on February 17 for a chance to receive complimentary tickets to select performances of Fake It Until You Make It while supplies last! General registration closes at 5pm on March 6.
  • Attendees living in the same house must register individually. We would love for folks to bring family members and friends who are over 16, but please fill out separate registrations for each individual coming to the event.
