La Edad de la Ciruela

Center Theatre Group and Teatro ARTA invite you to a free play reading at your local Boyle Heights library.

La Edad de la Ciruela (The Age of the Plum) makes us reflect on our relationship with time and its passage in our lives. It is the story of a matriarchal lineage, where the loneliness of the female characters intersects with the masculine only in thought, only in memory. History is a coming and going between laughter and sadness, the celebration of the present and the longing for the past. Presented by Teatro ARTA in Spanish.

As always, play readings are free, open to the public, and designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
