The People's Cookie

Come and enjoy free theatre at your neighborhood library

Join Center Theatre Group and Grupo de Teatro Sinergia for a reading of Vilma Villela's The People's Cookie—in Spanish and English—at Boyle Heights libraries. In this new comedy, the ghosts of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera confront a hipster for exploiting Frida's image to sell "Frida Frijolera Cookies." As always, play readings are free, open to the public, and designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
