Nuestra Señora de las Nubes

Oct 16–18, 2018 at 6–7pm

Venues Around L.A.

Nuestra Señora de las Nubes

Center Theatre Group partners with local artists, theatre companies, and libraries to present English and Spanish play readings every month.

The play takes place in a land with no name; the two characters’ only material possession is a suitcase. They establish a friendly relationship by discovering that they are from the same town: Nuestra Señora de las Nubes (Our Lady of the Clouds). Enamored of and marginalized by the same country that discarded them, these two souls recreate their forgotten world and its inhabitants through poetry, song, and fantasy. Presented in Spanish by Teatro del Pueblo/24th STreet Theatre.

As always, play readings are free, open to the public, and designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
