Free Play Reading

Cosas Pequeñas y Extraordinarias

Oct 15–17, 2019 at 6–7pm

Venues Around L.A.

Cosas Pequeñas y Extraordinarias

Center Theatre Group partners with local artists, theatre companies, and libraries to present English and Spanish play readings every month.

Emma is an 8-year-old girl, "eight and a half," and a collector of tiny and extraordinary things. She lives in a country where it rains a lot, and where insecurity and violence against journalists are part of everyday life. Then, Emma and her family have to abandon everything and flee to a country where a new language is spoken, strange things are eaten, and where it is very, very hot. Little by little, Emma begins to discover tiny and extraordinary things in her new home. Presented in Spanish by Off The Tracks Theatre Company.

As always, play readings are free, open to the public, and designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
