The Rodriguezes: A Mariachi Story

Center Theatre Group partners with local artists, theatre companies, and libraries to present English and Spanish play readings every month.

Rosalie Rodriguez is a mother, singer, violinist, Grammy winner, and a third generation mariachi musician. In her first solo theatre piece, Rosalie tells the story of her musical roots and lifts out of history the role the women in her family played in the traditionally male-dominated world of mariachi music. Presented in English with songs performed in Spanish, accompanied by her father and cousin.

As always, play readings are free, open to the public, and designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
