About the Artist

Joe Hernandez-Kolski is a writer, performer and youth advocate. His work is inspired by his mixed-ethnic background combined with his Chicago roots, which he takes way too seriously. Acting credits: Waiting for Waiting For Godot, Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, The Stones, and The Bomb-itty of Errors. How I Spent My Summer Vacation deals with his own internal struggles as an artist in isolation during this historic time. He is a graduate of Princeton University, Second City and the School at Steppenwolf.
