Creating Your Personal Story for the Stage

Center Theatre Group’s L.A. Writers’ Workshop is a dynamic and talented group of playwrights at Center Theatre Group. Playwright Marcus Gardley (2017/18 member) will lead a writing workshop focused on personal narratives designed to help you hone your storytelling strategies and skills. Afterward, everyone is invited to lunch and will receive complimentary passes to the L.A. Writers’ Workshop Festival to experience readings of three great new plays and celebrate our city’s incredible community of playwrights.

Emerging playwrights at the college level and above, with some previous writing experience, are invited to attend.

This community workshop is entirely free for participants, but RSVPs are required and space is limited. Please do not RSVP unless you are able to commit to attending. If you have questions, please contact
