Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress, the fearlessly funny ladies’ night out musical, makes for one wild and unforgettable evening with its hilarious show-stopping musical numbers, “Magic Mike”-influenced dancing, and loads of improvised audience mayhem!

After being on tour for close to three years together with the wildly successful Spank! The Fifty Shades of Grey Parody, writers Danielle Trzcinski and Amanda Barker saw an audience they never knew existed. Thousands of women who wanted to go to the theatre not just to see a show, but to have an experience where they could laugh, party, and let loose...oh, and see some stripping from a very sexy man. So, they grabbed a couple of their super talented friends—award-winning director Christopher Bond and Broadway vocal arranger and composer Natalie Tenenbaum—and together wrote the story of Dee and her best friend Mandy. Together we witness the girls’ major life events in their little black dresses—first job interview, first date, first awkward sexual experience, second awkward sexual experience, and more! Using hilarious improv, catchy songs, and a heartfelt story, Little Black Dress has made audiences across the globe laugh, cry, and party!

Little Black Dress is a hit! Coming off its North American summer tour of 14+ cities and counting, Little Black Dress received glowing reviews and gained fans nationwide. So call your girls and wear your own little black dress for the funniest night out in town!

Mystic and wondrous, it’ll put a comedy spell on you throughout some of the best darn catchy showtunes of the decade with vocal ranges that can easily compete with Broadway's biggest and best productions.

By no means, was this your every-day musical. With audience improv built into the show, this high-energy performance was new, fresh and fun—something that you didn't know was missing from standard musical lineups until you got to immerse yourself in the interactive LBD story. It is difficult to box this musical into a genre because there is truly nothing like it.
