Equity Actors
Center Theatre Group holds Equity general auditions on the first or second Monday of each month at the Music Center Annex. The Annex is located at 601 West Temple St. (In downtown L.A. on the corner of Temple Street and Grand Ave.) The least expensive parking is located on the corner of Temple & Figueroa.
Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and we take the first 25 people who sign up. The sign-up is first come first served; no reservations will be taken. Auditions begin at 9:30 a.m. Sign-up ends at 9:30 a.m. For the audition you should prepare two contrasting 2 to 3 minute contemporary monologues. We prefer a piece from a published American play performed without accent.
Please note that if you have auditioned within the last six months we do not need to see you again and would appreciate your abstaining from attending so that we may get to know new people. Before coming to the audition you always should call our Equity hotline at (213) 972-7235 to make sure the auditions have not been cancelled or rescheduled.
Non-Equity Actors
We are accepting pictures and resumes for all non-Equity actors. Please mail them with a cover letter to Center Theatre Group, Casting, 601 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. When time permits, we hold general auditions for non-Equity actors.
