DESCRIPTION:

A brand new, lavish production of one of the world’s most popular musicals, the romantic and beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp family features such songs as “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “Edelweiss” and the title song. It was first produced on Broadway in 1959 where it won five Tony Awards including Best Musical and its cast album won the Grammy Award. The 1965 film of “The Sound of Music” won five Academy Awards including Best Musical and continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.

Previews Begin September 20. Opens September 30. Through October 31, 2015

Previews: (September 20 – September 29)

Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m.

Exception: No 6:30 p.m. preview performance on Sunday, September 20.

Opens Wednesday, September 30 at 8 p.m.

Regular Performances (October 1 – October 31):

Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. No Monday performances.

Exceptions: No 8 p.m. performance on Wednesday, October 14. Added 2 p.m. performance on Thursday, October 29.
