Terms & Conditions

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO EXCHANGES, REFUNDS, OR CANCELLATIONS.

Our online ticketing system automatically displays the best available seat(s) at the time of purchase. Any applicable service charges are displayed in your cart and on your order confirmation, which you will receive promptly by email upon completion of your transaction.

The price of your ticket includes a 5% County of Los Angeles facility fee. License granted when you purchase your ticket may be revoked upon refund of the box office price. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. Any attempt to sell a Center Theatre Group ticket for a higher price than that printed on its face shall violate the license and will be considered cause to invalidate the ticket without refund.

Performance dates, casting, and programs are subject to change. The ticketholder expressly assumes all liability for risk and danger incidental to the ticketed event. Unless written consent is obtained from Center Theatre Group, your ticket or its image cannot be used in any advertising, promotion, or other trade purposes.

Photography and any other type of recording device are unlawful, unless authorized by Center Theatre Group. Violators may be removed at the sole discretion of management without refund. Your use of a ticket constitutes acknowledgment of willingness to appear in authorized photographs and video in public areas of The Music Center and the Kirk Douglas Theatre and releases Center Theatre Group, The Music Center, and all others from liability resulting from the use of such photographs.

To minimize disruption, patrons not seated when the performance begins will be asked to watch the lobby monitor until an appropriate break. Latecomers may also be given alternate seats until intermission.

Center Theatre Group makes its performances and facilities accessible for patrons in wheelchairs, patrons who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have low vision, and patrons with other disabilities. A limited number of assistive listening devices are available for the hard of hearing at each of our theatres.

Children under age six are not admitted, unless the production is advertised for younger audiences. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket and be able to sit quietly through the performance. Babes in arms are not admitted.

Light and sound from mobile devices are extremely distracting to audience members and performers and must be turned off.

Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes and cologne. Many people are allergic to heavy scents.

We require Season Ticket Members to change their contact information in writing—via email, mail, or fax—for your protection. We cannot change your contact information over the phone.

Productions are subject to change over the course of a season. We plan our schedule up to 15 months ahead, and for many different reasons on occasion must create a replacement. Sometimes directors and playwrights need more time to get a new work just right. Unforeseen events, from financing issues to family emergencies, may delay or cancel productions.

Our seat map changes for some productions, sometimes resulting in additional seats being added to the front of the house. At the Ahmanson, seats are added over the orchestra pit or in the front aisles for large musicals. At the Taper, seats are sometimes added at the front to fill space not used by the production and to bring the audience closer to the action. And at the Douglas, we have the flexibility to configure the space in a variety of ways depending on a production’s needs.

By completing a purchase, you will be automatically signed up to receive performance reminders and patron alerts, special promotions and offers, as well as our monthly newsletter via email. You can update these settings as well as subscribe to additional communications by visiting your Communications Preferences under My Account or calling Audience Services at 213.628.2772.

Commenting and Website Guidelines

We ask that you think before you post a comment on our blogs. If you do comment, we require you to follow the etiquette and terms below:

Be honest. Be honest about your identity. If you are a patron, educator, parent, artist, student or Center Theatre Group staff or Board member—say so. We want to know who you are and your area of expertise.

Be accurate. Make sure that you have all the facts before you post. It’s better to verify information first than to post a correction later. Hyperlink your sources whenever possible. If you make an error, correct it quickly and visibly.

Be respectful. Controversial topics and debates are encouraged, but if you feel angry or passionate about a subject, it’s wise to delay posting until you are calm and clear-headed. Be prepared for others to agree and disagree with you and your ideas.

Be professional. Don’t post inappropriate or unrelated content. We may also impose limits on certain features of the forums or restrict your access to part of all of the forums without notice if we believe you are in breach of the guidelines set forth herein, our terms and conditions or applicable law, or for any other reason without notice or liability.
