“Jitney”

DESCRIPTION:

Set in the early 1970s, “Jitney” follows a group of men trying to eke out a living by driving unlicensed cabs, or jitneys. When the city threatens to board up the business and the boss’ son returns from prison, tempers flare, potent secrets are revealed and the fragile threads binding these people together threaten to come undone at last.

DATES/TIMES:

Previews November 22 at 8 p.m. and November 23 at 2:30 and 8 p.m. Opens Sunday, November 24 at 6:30 p.m. Through December 29, 2019.

Regular Performances (November 26 – December 29): Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2:30 and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. No Monday performances.

Exceptions: No 8 p.m. performances on Thanksgiving, November 28; Christmas Eve, December 24; and Christmas Day, December 25. No public performances on Tuesday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 4. Added 8 p.m. performance on Monday, December 23. Added 2:30 p.m. performance on Thursday, December 26. No 6:30 p.m. performance on Sunday, December 29.
