Destiny’s Child Singer Michelle Williams will star in Fela!
Grammy Award winner Michelle Williams, best known as part of the chart-topping pop group Destiny’s Child, will play the role of Sandra in Fela! Ms. Williams made her Broadway debut in 2003 playing the title role in Aida. In addition, she toured with The Color Purple playing Shug Avery and was the first African American actress to play Roxie Hart in Chicago on London’s West End.
