Backstage Club
The season is now in session! Welcome back, students and families, to the 2024/25 Season!
The Backstage Club is now available with a 3-show subscription offer specialized for students and families! Experience the shows you love in the gorgeous Ahmanson Theatre, then enjoy special behind-the-scenes perks including meet & greets and talkbacks with the cast, and other fun pre- and post-show activities.
Backstage Club event dates will be held on select Saturday Matinees, so secure your seats confidently knowing the weekends are held just for you!
The Backstage Club Subscription Package includes some of our most anticipated productions this season, including:
- Sutton Foster in Once Upon A Mattress hits the Ahmanson Stage in December! Directed by Tony-nominated Encores! Artistic Director Lear deBessonet (Into the Woods) and with a new adaptation by Amy Sherman-Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Once Upon a Mattress sets an unapologetic free spirit loose in a repressed kingdom, reveling in Winnifred’s ability to charm and transform with willpower, honesty, and a little bit of help from her friends.
- Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, an irresistible celebration to the master himself, with a company headlined by none other than Tony Award® winners Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga. Experience this production before everyone else, as Center Theatre Group will present the North American premiere of Old Friends in advance of the Broadway premiere!
- Life of Pi, which is told with jaw-dropping visuals, world class, innovative puppetry and exquisite stagecraft, that will leave you filled with awe and joy! Lolita Chakrabarti’s dazzling stage adaptation of Yann Martel’s best-selling novel (over 15 million copies sold) is a worldwide phenomenon and opened to critical acclaim on Broadway and the West End and is now captivating audiences around the globe.
Backstage Club memberships are intended for students ages 13-18 and start at $104! (Two adults are able to join each student at the same price.) Plus, enjoy waived handling fees for all members, a benefit exclusive for our Backstage Club Subscription holders. See the best of Broadway in the best seats for the best price!
