Pick any three shows, or take all four!
- This December, we welcome the musical adaptation of a perennial holiday tradition. A Christmas Story, The Musical—which features music and lyrics by the songwriting duo behind Dear Evan Hansen—previously received rave reviews on Broadway and comes to Los Angeles for the holiday season.
- The Broadway Revival of Funny Girl makes its way to the Ahmanson! Funny Girl is a beloved Broadway musical with an iconic score that features one showstopper after another with songs like “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People.”
- We are also excited to continue our partnership with Director/Choreographer Matthew Bourne. The Ahmanson has been the North American home for his work for over 25 years, having previously presented Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Edward Scissorhands, The Car Man, and more. This year, it's his take on another beloved classic, Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet.
- Also at the Ahmanson, we get to ask the age-old questions: Was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Or Mrs. Peacock in the dining room with the candlestick? Based on the iconic 1985 movie and inspired by the classic board game, we can’t wait to play host to the hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery that is Clue.
Don’t forget to add these exciting shows!
- Hadestown won the Tony in 2019, and also picked up a Grammy Award for its distinctive, soulful melodies. The show was a smash hit for us last year, so we are bringing it back to the Ahmanson by popular demand this October!
- Culver City gets paid a visit by the star of one of the most successful book series of all time when Dog Man: The Musical plays the Kirk Douglas Theatre over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Based on the worldwide bestselling book series by Dav Pilkey, this TheaterWorksUSA production is coming off a highly acclaimed run in New York to make its West Coast debut.
