Show Guide for Parents
Theatre is a place for young people and Center Theatre Group believes in nourishing a life-long passion for theatre and the arts. We encourage you to regularly look for opportunities to bring the young people in your life to experience the magic of live theatre.
Center Theatre Group offers an enormous variety of productions across our three stages and understands that certain shows may be best suited to more mature audiences. We seek to provide you with as much information as possible to help you in selecting the right CTG theatre experiences for your young person.
Please consult the right-hand column on each production's webpage for key recommendations and information. You may want to consider things such as the length of the performance, mature language and content notices, and more to help you make informed decisions. Please know that these are recommendations, not rules. You are the expert in deciding what your children should see and know best how to help them enjoy their theatregoing experience.
Center Theatre Group updates the information for each show when artistic choices substantively change the content. Theatre is a living medium, and the work evolves throughout the development and rehearsal process. The information provided throughout our website is the most current available.
Please note that children six years of age or under who may cry or fidget are never admitted into our theatres.
