Center Theatre Group offers regular paid training opportunities for high school, college, and early-career individuals.
Student Ambassador Program (High School)
This is the ultimate experience for Los Angeles County high school students who love the arts: a paid, eight-month program designed to transform passionate young people into arts leaders, team players, advocates, and engagement experts.
Our interns get hands-on experience in arts management and administration in departments across the company, study and learn alongside professionals, and participate in career development programs.
The Apprenticeship Program is a paid opportunity for people with no background in professional theatre to get hands-on training in Technical Production and Artistic careers.
The Observership Program is a paid opportunity for diverse early-career theatre artists to sit in on the professional rehearsal process at one or more of our three theatres. The program may be especially beneficial for aspiring directors, but is also open to designers, technicians, stage managers, playwrights, producers, and actors.
