Theatre Teacher
Theatre teachers work for public or private elementary, middle, and high schools, passing their love for theatre on to the next generation. They can also work at the college or university level. The stability of teaching jobs varies depending on the school, but many theatre teachers are able to work full-time at the same campus for many years. Unlike teaching artists, teaching positions at public schools require an undergraduate degree and a teaching credential, and may require additional certifications. If you are interested in teaching at the college level, most professorships require a graduate degree in a related field.
